Thanks for so much great information! I have always been in great shape, my x husband was into body building and I picked up a lot from him. But in the past few years have lost my body. I am a very busy mother of 3 boys, work 9.5 hours a day m-f and live 1/2 hour from work. I live in an extremely small town with NO GYM! and I am getting older, so I know I need to change my ways to keep up with my changing body! I am 5′4″, 37 (soon to be 38) 128.5 lbs. I was always 118-120 up until December 2007. It’s not muscle either! I have started the side rolls, belly roll and my thighs have gotten bigger. I have a very petite upperbody (arms, back…) and I haven’t seen any change in my calves. What do I do? I am so unhappy with the way I look right now, that I don’t go out much and wear baggy clothes to cover myself up. I am so willing to work hard at this, but I don’t want a quick fix that won’t last. I need to keep whatever I need to do in my lifestyle. Another issue I have is nutrition…..I’m a picky eater! That makes things difficult, because I gag on a lot of different foods. Can you help!
Dear Coach A, I am 44 yrs. old female and weigh 185 lbs. I have always weighed around 125-130 lbs. but, I quite working out and watching what I eat. My husband has gone thru quad bypass surgery, 2 neck surgeries and is now in end stage renal failure. I have given up everything I used to do for myself to take care of him. I would like to try to start working out again to lose the weight and start feeling better about myself again. I need your help and advice. Thank you.
